Dear CCFL , Boca and Plantation Students & Parents
We are so excited to relaunch the(crucible) 2 this year. This time it will be from Dec 27 to Jan 3, 2009. As usual, the content is proprietary, so we can't go into all the details what it is all about. I will give you a hint though... read through liquidbahamas07 and 08 blogs, and you will find out more about this type of radical missions cum discipleship trip. Guranteed to take you out of the life of mundane comfort to a life of adventurous faith. Pause for a moment and let that sink in.
I am a missionary at heart, in my make, and by creative design by our God and Savior. All these have to be discovered and nurtured, and the best place to find out who you are in the Kingdom of God is to learn to to listen, learn to wait on the LORD and learn to live it out in obedience. There will be time for that type of missional lifestyle on this trip. Pastor Andrew Lundy and Garfield Wallacey will be leading this trip together. Brittany and myself will be the women supporting them, and adding to the leadership team.
If you are a leader, and want to grow in spiritual leadership, I say come on this trip and discover who He has called you to be. If you are contemplating if missions is for you in the future, trust me you want to start with this introductory missionary adventure, it will equip you for the next page of your life. If you are steady and on course with your life as a Christian young man or woman, but want to have a right attitude in serving Jesus, and develop the heart for the lost, I say come and learn to be bold for Jesus.
